Looking for a beachfront restaurant in Maresias? You’ve just found it! Badauê Maresias specialties are fish and crustaceans such as the award-winning crab cone. Catering to all tastes, they also serve meat, pizza on an iron plate, hamburgers and even sushi. Every day, from 9am to 6pm,  Canto do Rio Kiosk offers beach service in Maresias. On the menu,  big pink shrimp with garlic and oil is the main item. There are also appetizers and alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. It has a pet friendly structure, which is separated from the sand strip.

Terral Restaurant

Considered one of the best places to eat in Maresias, Terral Restaurant is decorated with handicrafts brought from various parts of the world. This restaurant specializes in fish and seafood, such as octopus, which is prepared on the grill with garlic and olive oil and needs to be ordered a day in advance. One of the most successful drinks at the house is Tarsila Amaral, a mixture of lambrusco with peach, cherry and Sicilian lemon liqueur. I bet your mouth watered, right?!

The house is open from Monday to Friday and from 12pm to 9pm. On Saturdays, it goes until 10:30pm and on Sundays,  until 8pm. They accept food delivery orders.

If you want to try or enjoy the traditional Argentine empanadas, go to Empanadas Tucumanas. All empanadas are handmade and you can find options such as traditional ones and also sweet and wholesome flavors. After tasting almost all the flavors, I can say that the shrimp with cream cheese one is the best (this note is true!)! For vegetarians, my recommendation is cheese with onion 😉. They also have craft beer.

Padula family is not a fan of fish-based foods so they have decided to create Espetaria Maresias, with more than 30 types of skewers. I take the opportunity to highlight here the meat skewers, kafta and garlic sausage!

Meet my favorite restaurant in Maresias, Odoya Bistro! This is a pleasant corner, decorated with plants, pet friendly, and with several options of healthy and artisanal food, vegan or not. The shrimp risotto that is in the cover image of this article is from Odoyá, and among all  vegan dishes, they offer the chickpea medallion and the black bean medallion with shimeji, both of which are delicious. They also serve set meals as omelets, salads, hamburgers and desserts. They accept food delivery orders via WhatsApp.

They work on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 12pm to 10pm and on Mondays, it opens from 12pm to 6pm.

It opens, from Monday to Saturday, from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm, with a feast of tasty homemade food and several vegetarian options. Here you can find mushroom pie, peach palm kibbeh and pumpkin dumpling with shimeji, for example. It also has varieties of sweets.

LMTM Tip: If you want to make a lunchbox to take home or eat on the beach, go with a reusable and lightweight pot, so you don’t need to use the Styrofoam container 🤗.
